With just 12 days left until Thanksgiving, I thought it would be nice to make up a big “thankful” card for someone I care about. I know I’m guilty of not expressing my gratitude often enough, and today’s project was the perfect opportunity to do just that: make up a card that’s more like a mini-album with 12 ways I’m thankful for my husband.
I know he appreciates hearing when I’m grateful for the efforts he makes. I think everyone can really benefit from a great big heartfelt “thank you”. And sitting down and putting this card together really helped me focus on the positive things!
This card is also a great one from a group – maybe for parents, or grandparents. There’s room for photos, for embellishments, and for plenty of personal notes and messages! You can make it without a lot of special tools, too – I used my Silhouette and Sizzix machines to add embellishments, but you can easily use stickers or hand-write something lovely to fill this big card in with lots of gratitude.
I’m sharing the easy tutorial with ideas for what to put inside over at the Core’dinations blog, so be sure to come by and see how to make one for someone you care about!
