What the what?  Am I the last one to figure this out?  Washi tape fits into regular tape roll dispensers!  I was wrapping up birthday and Christmas gifts this weekend, and when I used up the tape, I thought – wait… I wonder…

And it totally fits!  You just have to gently squeeze the plastic prongs to remove the old core, and pop the washi tape in.

I love washi tape – and I KNOW I’m not alone.  It’s just so fun and it dresses up all kinds of paper crafts, gifts, cards, tags, and more.  Even if you’re NOT addicted, it’s still enough of a craft staple to have a few fun rolls on-hand!

So all you washi tape addicts and aficionados out there – DON’T throw away your dispensers as you do your holiday gift wrapping this year – hold onto them for an instant washi dispenser fix!

Oh my gosh! I feel so stupid for not figuring this out before! It IS weird that it doesn’t ever come with its own dispenser.

I didn’t know that either! I have a ton of washi tape for scrapbooking so I will have to start keeping the empty scotch tape rolls. Thanks for sharing!

AWESOME!!! THANK YOU for the TIP & for taking your Precious Time to SHARE it! My “Upcycle” tip…. As “Crafters” we ALL have a MILLION, (Truthfully, MILLIONS) little beads, rhinestones, etc. I use old medicine bottles (of all sizes) to store them.Hot glue one of the pieces onto the lid, for EASY identification! Then organise & store them in plastic tubs, As a jewelry maker, this has saved me HOURS, I used to spend on SEARCHING for something! Hugs 2 ALL!
