Happy Monday to you all! Normally I try to avoid sharing projects where you need specialty equipment (like my beloved Silhouette Cameo) unless you can also achieve the result with a little hand-work… but today is going to be an exception to that. If you DO have a Silhouette machine, today will be awesome because I’ve got a free Valentine download for you. (If a Silhouette is still on your wishlist, you can feel free to pin today’s post for when you do get your machine – the file is free, and you’ll want to get started building your library as soon as you get one!)
This file took me quite a while to work on since it’s my first real design and my first time using a lot of the Studio tools, but I had lots of fun with it (and I want to say a special thank you to Lindsay from Artsy-Fartsy Mama who helped me when I got stuck putting finishing touches on), so I really want to share it with you all to make it worth my time, haha. You can download the Valentine file here from Google Docs.
As far as it goes… super simple. Practically self-explanatory. Just open the file in Studio…
Cut your sheet (I sized these to fit in some 4-1/4 x 5-1/5 inch envelopes I have on-hand, but feel free to re-size it) – they fit 6 to a 12×12 inch sheet…
And use a bit of craft glue to attach them to a contrasting color card. If your kids are old enough, they can even help you glue them!
And that’s it! I love how they turned out!
Are you getting ready for Valentine’s Day at your house yet?

Hi Adrianne!
I found this post on an other website, they cut away your name from every photo.
If it´s interesting for you look here: http://www.solountip.com/2013/01/como-hacer-tarjetas-para-san-valentin.html
They made the same with a post from my blog and had to delete it!
Hugs from Germany!

These are so neat! I’ve been working on diy projects for Valentine’s Day since the end of December! Although they’ve been for blog projects to share with my readers rather than to gift to someone for Valentine’s Day. I still haven’t decided what to do for my boyfriend on Valentine’s Day though we do have dinner reservations at a wonderful, locally owned restaurant.
