This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of PERK for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
I have young kids, so my car is perpetually a mess. It kills me. It looks like a cereal bomb went off in the backseat and there are always the things my daughter just couldn’t leave at home, but promptly forgot about once she got in the car. It used to be that my car was always clean, vacuumed, tidy – after all, I commute every day. It’s like my second home! If I’m going to start every day in my car, I want to feel realxed and organized. No clutter. No junk. And NOTHING stinky.
But finding an air freshener I liked was something I gave up on long ago. I don’t like the way the clippy refillable holders look, you can’t adjust your vents properly, it seems like they’re out every time I tunr around – and there is NO chance I’m going to hang something from my rearview mirror. I’ve tried popping an air freshener under my seat instead so that I won’t see it, but then a few days later when I don’t smell it anymore, I forget all about it being under there, and then I get annoyed when I find a whole collection of them when I’m vacuuming my floor mats.
So I was really intrigued by the idea of the PERK Vent Wrap. I was offered a chance to try them and I figured – why not? Nothing else is working for me anyway. And after a week of driving around with them, I think PERK is definitely on to something here.
PERK Vent Wrap is a vent air freshener that cilps onto your vent, without inhibiting the vent function. You can still open, close, and aim your vents like normal without blocking any air flow – which really important when it’s winter in Michigan! The StediScent® layered scent technology keeps it fresh for about 2 weeks, so a 4-pack lasts for 60 days. No refills, no fuss, just clip it on. Done.
While the scent is noticeable (I’m a “new car” fan all the way, and my husband is too!) the clip itself isn’t at all. “It smells good in here,” Kevin noticed over the weekend. “So where’s your air freshener?”
Well, it was right in front of him!
I’m not the type to get over-the-moon excited about something like a car air freshener. To me, the point is that it should be both subtle and discreet – and it should last. If it’s doing its job, there’s nothing to really gush about. Fresh-smelling car? Check. No fuss? Check. Nothing cluttering up my cereal-free zone? Check. PERK is a win on all the points that are important to me in a totally simple way. Cip. Go. It doesn’t need to be more complicated than that.
You can find PERK Vent Wrap at Target, Walmart, Advanced Auto Parts, and other retailers that sell car air fresheners. Try out scents like Golden Vanilla, Absolute Zero, Clean Laundry, Lush Valley – and of course the classic New Car in your own car to see what a difference it can make! I think I could easily take you in a “Whose Car is Messier?” challenge. I sometimes use my body to shield my car from the other preschool moms when I’m unloading the kids! ;)

I eat/snack in my car alot….inevitably bits of food end up on the floor and stay there way too long……so an air freshener is sorely needed.
