I am going to keep this short this morning for several reasons (not the least of which was staying up until 2:30 celebrating with my writer friends for some epic achievements).
November is National Novel Writing Month. I wrote a novel bad first draft of a novel. My fifth, actually! :) And every year, I get a little more sad to see it come to an end. Today, December 1, feels like the first day home from camp.
But I pulled down another win, and had a great time doing it!
I want to give a shout-out to a couple people who made my November infinitely better: Jean Davis for being my partner and mentor in crime for my first year in a leadership role. Can I just pat us both on the back for a great year?
Also, thank you to Terry from These Peas Taste Funny, for a whole month (actually like six weeks!) of check-ins, cheering me on, and of course the fabulous care package!
And of course, everyone in my region (both official and affiliated) who made November wonderful. I’d list you all, but that would take a very long time on very little sleep this morning, and I would feel awful to miss anyone! You know who you are, and you rock.
I know so many people say this, but it’s really true: my region and my wrimos are the best. Love you guys!!
November Recap:
Final Word Count: 50,603
Hours spent writing: 61.25
(Hours spent distracted: at least twice that. Probably three times.)

Wow, I totally missed this post. How did that happen? Probably one too many stops by the long island cooler in our virtual office.
Thanks for making this year so much more fun for me and of course, for all our wrimos too. NaNo would have only been half as awesome without you. :)

LOL – characters killed 5? you have me beat (I think I had 2 – I'll have to try harder next year). I'm so proud of you and glad you had so much fun. Thanks for the shout-out. :)
