Like most of you, I think gifts in jars are particularly adorable! They’re so easy to put together, and a little bit of paper can turn in from a plain jar into a clever gift container. This little treat-filled jar would be just as cute for a small-sized gift like jewelry, or even little baked goods, too – the jar helps keep treats fresh!
What I like best about this alternative to wrapping paper or gift bags is that you can create your own Valentine as part of the gift itself, and your friend or loved one can keep the jar to re-use for organizing, or storage, and think of you every time they see it. I gave winter-themed jars with jewelry gifts inside this past Christmas, and they were really well-received. People just love seeing gift wrapping what shows you made an effort, and this is the perfect type of gift for friends or co-workers who you just want to do something small but heartfelt for.
I am sharing the full tutorial over on the Core’dinations blog this week, so stop by and say hi, and get the scoop on what you need to make this simple but special treat jar.
