Bavarian Inn Lodge Getaway and Readers-Only Special Offers

Well, my daughter has finally worn me down with her recent begging to take a water park vacation, and I’m happy to share: we’ll be heading out to Bavarian Inn Lodge in Frankenmuth later this month for a much-needed mini-vacation.  I’m really excited to have the chance to partner with them, and to share a couple of great specials in case you happen to be in Michigan this summer!

It’s going to be great to go back!  Frankenmuth was the first place we ever took Raya on an overnight trip.  Well, honestly, it was the last time we took her, too, because back then my work schedule was pretty crazy with 2 jobs, and we found out shortly after our trip that Roman was on the way… it kind of puts plans like vacation on hold!  We dined at The Bavarian Inn Restaurant while we were there, which is a Michigan landmark.

The 360-room, German-themed hotel is one of the state’s largest Indoor Water Park Hotels and has been around for over 125 years, and it HAS to be on your list of places to visit if you’re planning a #PureMichigan summer.  It’s surrounded by cute shops and landmarks with authentic German architecture.  It was really lovely when we visited, and I’m looking forward to taking both kids back.

I’ll be sure to share some photos of our stay when we get back, but in the meantime, I’ve got a couple of great reader specials for you to take advantage of if you’re planning a Frankenmuth vacation this summer!

Hope you’ve got a fun weekend planned!

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
