Liar, Liar, Pants On Fire…

Did I say I wasn’t going to ask you to vote for me for anything for a while?

…is “a while” longer than a day?

I got a fantastic email yesterday afternoon from Jill over at Two Yellow Birds Decor, who has teamed up with Chrissy from The Taylor House for the Project Pinterest Challenge.  The idea is to pick some things you’ve been meaning to try off your Pinterest boards, and finally give them a try!  Jill told me yesterday that I made the top 12!

My Jello Oranges, along with 11 other fabulous projects, are up for a vote starting today (through June 28).  If you have a minute – go and check it out.  You can vote for up to three favorites (just click the word “vote *underneath* the thumbnail photo at the bottom of the post!)  I just never imagined that out of over 100 entries, this little dessert would make the cut!
I have two blog-friends in the top 12 as well!  Meredith from Wait Til Your Father Gets Home is also part of the top 12 with her Fingerprint Charm Necklace.  If you read here often, you may remember that she shared that project here as part of the handmade Mother’s Day gift miniseries!  Be sure to check her out as well!
Also, Morena from Morena’s Corner contributed to the same Mother’s Day miniseries!  Her Faux Silver Bowl is also up for vote!

You may certainly pick your favorites – with all the fabulous things in the top 12, these may not even be your favorite 3.  I just want to give a shout-out and congratulate some really sweet bloggers I’ve had the pleasure of working with lately.

And with that, I swear – for real this time – no more voting until I recover from all these contests!!  Meanwhile, if there’s anything I can do for you to support you the way you’ve all supported me over the past couple months – leave your link in the comments!
Thank you, friends!

Congratulations on making it to the top 12! I think those oranges are cute! My kids could eat oranges until the cows came home – I would love to see the look on their faces when they bit into jello!

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
