Dry Mornings are Happy Mornings

I want to thank GoodNites* TRU-FIT* for sponsoring this post and introducing me to their nighttime underwear.  I know this is a stage that passes with kids, and this absorbent underwear has made our nights drier and less stressful until it does!  Raya doesn’t want to wake up wet.  I don’t want her to wake up wet.  And I especially don’t want anyone waking up wet on those nights every so often when she comes upstairs at 4:00 am asking to sleep in my bed.  At 4:00 am, all I really want to think about is sleeping – whether it’s a wet bed or a bad dream waking her up at night.

Cue the sleepy selfie.

It’s honestly not often that my daughter asks to sleep with me, fortunately.  Maybe once a month.  It’s generally a bad dream that prompts it, and I don’t have the heart to say no, given how infrequently she asks.  She is a girls who normally likes her space and actually wants to be in her room.  But that said – I definitely don’t want that to be a night where I have to wonder every 30 minutes if my bed is going to be a casualty. :) Using GoodNites* TRU-FIT* has been great to give my daughter confidence that she’s got the underwear thing down even at night, but it’s got added protection – for just in case.  Because no kid is happy about saying, “Mama, I wet the bed.”  (And no mama is happy about finding it herself.)

If you haven’t checked them out already, GoodNites* TRU-FIT* are real underwear – you wash them just like normal laundry – and they have the added protection to make your kids feel confident at night.  Just change out the disposable insert each night.

They come in 2 stretchy sizes for boys and girls.  They’re sized S/M and L/XL, and the patterns and colors are the perfect blend of being fun while also being more mature – they’re great for kids up to age 12 who need a little help at night.  You can find GoodNites® at Walmart and Walmart.com – and if this sounds like a good product for your kids to try, then I also want to share with you that if you register at Goodnites.com, you can print a $3 off coupon for your first (or your next!) GoodNites* TRU-FIT* purchase.

If you’d also like a chance to win some great prizes from GoodNites®, join me at the #TruFitWalmart Twitter party! It’s taking place Wednesday, September 24 from 8:00am – 9:00am PST/ 11:00am – 12:00pm EST.  Just follow the hashtag to join in the fun!

Bottom line is, if you’re a parent, no matter what stage your kid is at – the goal is having them wake up happy.  I mean, really.  And helping their confidence if they struggle with nighttime wetting can go a long way toward that.  This is always a great sight, instead of tears!

What kinds of products have you tried for keeping beds dry at night?  What worked best for your family?

I JUST got these for my 7 year old that still has accidents every once in a while!! They are so cool and he doesn’t feel embarrassed or like he is wearing a diaper, because they look just like real underware. We love them. :)

Fortunately, I never had to worry about this with my daughter. But the boys will be an entirely different story, I am sure!! Thanks for the information!

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
