Dear Laundry Fairy, I still desperately want to believe you’re real. Haha. It’s not that I hate laundry. Laundry isn’t difficult – it just takes SO LONG, tied to the house, to get through the amount of laundry that a family generates. (I can’t even imagine if I had to frequent the laundromat instead – I guess I’m lucky there!) Since making the leap to working from home, I have *not* found that there is a magical abundance of time to get everything done. While it’s nice to be here to keep up with the housekeeping – there’s still something more important to do with my time. Spending time with my kids and as a family is the ENTIRE reason I quit the day job in the first place. So when I found a way to cut down the time spent on laundry, I may have jumped for joy in a very literal way. Have you tried the new Suavitel Fast Dry Fabric Softener? You need to!

See, the whole point was that I was missing out before, on trips to the park, to the zoo, to the pumpkin patch. On reading the same story 15 times. On the first words, first steps, volunteering at my daughter’s school – all of it. And then somehow, being at home made all of that stuff equally difficult with the housekeeping – and the laundry – taking all day.
Currently, one load of laundry takes 40 minutes to wash, and then an hour to dry. One hour and forty minutes. For ONE load.

I can do them back to back to speed the process up, but if I have 6 loads on laundry day then that means I am busy for 7 hours straight! I debate whether to share this next image – don’t judge! I swear, there is a hamper holding this pile up… this is what Friday looks like in my house.

This. I have this going on. And this isn’t even the kids’ stuff. And when I have this happening, these are the days that I am THRILLED to turn 7 hours of laundry into just 5.
See, the new #FastDrySaveTime formula from Suavitel cuts dry time by up to 30%. That means less time in the dryer, and more time for us to do the fun stuff. Like carve pumpkins, without having to get up and wash my hands and check to see if I can move a load over yet – because, as you can see, it’s getting dark out, and little miss’ bedding NEEDS to be finished before bedtime.

It means that we can have family over for dinner, just because – because I don’t have this going on in the bathroom for the whole weekend:

It means that I am there for peek-a-boo.

And for cooking lessons.

Because those are my favorite things about my day.
Laundry… is not my favorite. And I’m probably not alone in that sentiment. So this is the best fabric softener ever, as far as I’m concerned. I picked some up on my last #CollectiveBias shopping trip to Walmart – you can find it in 2 scents, Fabulous Field Flowers or Magical Morning Sun, in the bright pink bottle, right in the fabric softener aisle.

So I am curious, if you could shave 30% off your dryer time, how long would it take you to get through laundry day? What would you do with those extra hours? Read a book? Take a nap? Take a class? Make a meal? Make more memories?

I have tried the Suavitel softener and I LOVE it! I love that my towels and jeans are done so much quicker! With the extra time I have been doing some extra crafting with my littlest monkey. :)
Where’s the “have some wine” picture, lady??!?! :)
With extra time, I should probably say that I’d finally unpack these pesky boxes. But really, I feel like baking. :)
Oh, anything that makes laundry time shorter and play time longer! :)
With extra time, I would probably take the boys for a longer wagon ride!
With the time I saved, we could go to the pumpkin patch and decorate a TMNT Pumpkin!
