Let’s Make Lunch!

This post brought to you by Snack Pack. The content and opinions expressed below are that of Happy Hour Projects.

Is it just me, or is the second half of the school year SO much tougher than the first?  Back in the fall, I was all energized and excited.  Since the holiday break, I’m struggling!  Haha.  There are a few ways to keep things simple though – and that’s packing an easy lunch (instead of striving for something Pinterest-worthy).  Sandwich, fruit or veggie, and a treat.  Done in 3 minutes or less.  And my daughter’s favorite part is of course, the treat.  (Do you blame her?  She’s a kid.  Of course she’s all about the treats!)

Recently, Snack Pack redesigned their lids and they’re easier to open, which makes them a great treat to toss in with a healthy lunch.  Easy to pack, easy to enjoy!

There’s added calcium, no preservatives, and no high-fructose corn syrup.  So as far as treats go, I feel good about popping a Snack Pack into Raya’s lunch.  You can find them in the baking aisle, and learn more at www.snackpack.com.  Our family is like a lot of others – our favorite flavor is classic chocolate!

One thing I do love about this stage, though, are the adorable lunchboxes!  The box of goodies we got from Snack Pack to check out the redesigned lid had this sweet owl lunchbox inside:

Adorable, right?  If only this little guy could pack his own lunch, though… and as soon as I got that thought stuck in my head, I had to make up this quick little video of what that would look like, just for fun!

In my dreams… lunches pack themselves… #SnackPack #ad #nomnom #owl #lunchtime #backtoschool

So what’s your family’s favorite Snack Pack flavor?

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
