Happy Wednesday, guys! I’ve got a bright and simple idea to share with you today using your favorite scrapbook punches or dies (like these great Tim Holtz dies from Sizzix), glass tiles, and a bit of Mod Podge. I got my hands on some of the new metallic card stock in the Tim Holtz line, and it just screamed “jewelry” to me… so I mounted a few springy butterflies and initials under glass tiles to make these personalized necklaces.

Any shapes, icons, or letters under 1″ fit beautifully on the backs of the glass tiles, and you can set them off with your favorite colored backgrounds. They make up in about 10 minutes each (not counting drying time – you’ll want to get started on this project a day ahead) and when you make them assembly-line-style, you can cut that time even shorter.

I’m sharing the full tutorial over at the Core’dinations blog this week, so if you want to see more and get the how-to, stop over, say hello, pin the project, and let’s get crafty! :) There are so many possibilities with this project to make it your own with special papers, book clippings, maps, and more.
Hope you’re having a great week covered in glue, glitter, or paint!
