DIY Love-Themed Paper Wedding Lanterns

Well, I found out by accident last week that a LOT of you are planning a wedding, helping to plan a wedding or a bridal shower, or collecting wedding ideas!  So I thought another piece of DIY wedding decor would be something fun to share.  Get your Sizzix machine ready for these love-themed paper wedding lanterns!

DIY Paper Wedding Lanterns at www.happyhourprojects.com

These are a perfect item to make up in bulk since they’re just paper and vellum.  After you add the die to your paper crafting collection, you can make up the lanterns for just pennies, and add a $1 LED candle to the inside of each one.  I’m sharing the full tutorial and supply list over at the Core’dinations blog this week, so if you think this is perfect for a shower, party, or reception that you’re planning this summer, be sure to stop over and check it out!

Don’t forget, if you’re looking for more DIY wedding ideas, email subscribers have access to my free ebook on wedding-themed stamped metal decor and gift projects.

For you regular readers wondering what I’ve been up to the past few days, I just launched my author website at adriannesurian.com this week, so I’m getting a great big education on creating a website ALL BY MYSELF.  Haha!  I’m still working on filling in everything I want to share, but that’s taken up much of my working hours this week.  (You know what that means, though – we’ll be kicking off Monday with some ultra-easy, instant gratification DIY’s!  Stay tuned!)

Hope you’ve got a fantastic weekend lined up, and I’ll see you Monday!

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
