So if you read here often, you know I’m really a fan of natural elements – stone, wood, and nature themes. I mean, I love sparkle as much as the next girl, of course! But I’m totally a sucker for stone beads. Now, if you’ve seen the druzy stones that are popular right now, they’re gorgeous, sparkling natural beads and cabochons that are created in nature when tiny crystals form on rocks and minerals. They look like glitter.
Which is, of course, an a-ha! moment to most good crafters.

You can make your own faux druzy jewelry using a high-quality glass glitter! I’m sharing the full tutorial over at the Blitsy blog this week. If you aren’t familiar with Blitsy, you should be! It’s an online retailer of discount craft supplies, with flash sale events and everyday deals on the staples you need to stock your craft room. I had the opportunity last weekend to visit them in-person for a tour, and to put some faces with names now that I’ve joined the Blitsy design team!
You can shop Blitsy anytime to save (on everything you’re buying anyway), or stop over for great inspiration at their creative blog! You can catch this tutorial, and shop for any supplies you may still need while you’re there. If you signe up and place your first order within 24 hours, you even get $10 off that order. (Yep – free craft supplies! Does it get better than that?)
Come over and say hi! I’ll see you guys again soon,

Hi, Can you tell me if there is a tutorial for your “FAUX DRUZY NECKLACE”?
I’d love to make one for myself.
Thanks.
