Hey guys! Well, I’ll be honest, I wasn’t really planning to share today’s tutorial as a true DIY necklace because it’s SO EASY you can make it in like one minute. Maybe even less. But I’ve been wearing it quite a bit the past few weeks and I’ve gotten so many compliments on it that I decided, well, I did make it, and you guys love easy DIY, right? It takes just a couple of supplies, and one minute of your time to make this agate slice necklace.

I got my supplies at Goody Beads, and if you’re looking to do some quick shopping to make this necklace yourself at home, I’ll leave affiliate links below so that you can find just what you need to get the look.
- Adjustable 28″ Silver Chain (for a long necklace)
- Small Pink Agate Slice Pendant (if you search “agate” you’ll find several colors & sizes)
- 9mm Jump Ring
- Chain Nose Pliers

Because the pendant is ready to go, all you need to do is twist open the jump ring with your pliers, add the pendant ring and chain to it, and the twist it closed again. Seriously, that easy.

It will take you longer to decide which color stone you want to wear – longer to open your shipment, even – that it will take to make this beautiful necklace. I love the simplicity and the earthy look of stone, and everyone I’ve run into recently seems to love it too, because I have gotten more comments on this piece than most of my other jewelry! (Do I even tell them how easy it was? Nope. That will be my secret I share with you awesome readers, haha.)

It’s obviously a perfect beginner project, if you’re just beginning to get into DIY jewelry making. And instant gratification, too!
Thanks for joining me today, and I’ll catch you guys again soon!

Difícil de encontrar está técnica, mas acredito ser de resina com pigmentação.
wow nice post
looking good
That’s so weird I have that almost exact piece and no two are alike. We have good taste!
Bonjour,
It’s nice ! But what I would like to know is how surrounded the agate slice. Because if I could do that, Il could do it with beach glass, peebles and shells that I pick up on the beach.
Have a very nice day.
Marie
I’m not sure since I bought it that way. It looks to be gold leaf or some kind of electroplating. I was thrilled to find it already finished like this.
It’s very pretty, but I know it would take me longer than a minute to make. Thanks for the instructions.
What a gorgeous necklace! I am looking for a few longer pieces to add to my collection. One like this would be a beautiful statement piece.
These are so popular on Etsy right now! I love it!
That turned out sharp! I already design my wife’s bouquets at flower store when I buy them for her maybe should do that with her jewelry now too ;-)
That’s pretty, I love the pink color. I’m pretty inept with DIY but sounds like something even I could do :).
