Kids Gift Ideas | 3DLightFX

Hey friends!  Do you have some kids (or kids at heart) that you still need ideas for?  My husband and I just picked out a pair of 3D Deco Lights from today’s sponsor, 3DLightFx, and our kids are going to be so excited!

Both kids are still at an age where they prefer to have a night light, and I’m okay with that.  (It’s better than me getting out of bed to console someone who stubbed a toe on the way to the bathroom, after all.)  But what makes these lights more than a nightlight is that they come in so many of your kids’ favorite characters, like my daughter’s favorite My Little Pony, Pinkie Pie!

Each 3dLightFX light comes with a coordinated wall sticker that helps you mount the light.  For the My Little Pony line, it’s a whimsical name accent sticker with elements of that pony’s cutie mark.

You place the sticker, mount the light, and when you turn out the lights, you can enjoy the happy glow!

Now if I’m being honest, my son would have been perfectly happy with a My Little Pony of his own, but we couldn’t resist his favorite Star Wars Character, R2D2.

Many of the character and sports-themed lights come with the cracked wall sticker, so that it looks like their friends have broken right through the wall to join the party!

If you’re a Star Wars family like we are, you’ll love all the options from both the light side and the dark side!  3DLightFX also has Transformers, Paw Patrol, Disney Princesses, Marvel and DC, and even Cars and Sports themes that are appropriate for any age fan.  (My husband asked if we could also get the Millennium Falcon for our room.  I had to say no to that.  Perhaps for his man cave.) :)

3D Deco lights are totally functional, so you know if you give one as a gift that it won’t end up in the bottom of the toy box after being played with for one day – your kids can enjoy it for as long as they’re into their favorite characters.  That was the deciding factor for us – we are scaling back on gifts and focusing on more practical items for our kids.  This fits their love of toys and our want for something useful over the long term!  You can find them at Target, or visit the 3DLightFX website to check for other retailers.

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
