Hello Happy Hour Project readers! My name is Kadie and I run the blog Seven Alive all Livin’ in a Double Wide. I blog about all our crafty adventures, recipes, sewing, and my favorite crocheting.
I’m really excited to be here today! I adore Adrianne and all of her craftiness. She is such a talented person!
Today I’m going to show you how to make the simplest Infinity cowl for the fall. Seriously this is one of those projects that it takes longer to write up the post than it does to make the scarf.
Start with some knit fabric. I made a Maxi Dress in the summer so I am using scraps left over from that. If you don’t have any scraps you could use an old t-shirt. I used knit because it wont fray, so I didn’t have to hem it or finish off my edges.
Please excuse the little foot in the photo. My kiddos get just as excited as I do to make things.
Straighten up all your edges {if you need tips on that I have a tutorial} then lay it out and put a twist in the bottom. The strip of fabric I used is 46 inches long and 9 inches wide. You can make yours longer or shorter if you want. The longer you make it the more times you can wrap it around your neck.
With front sides together sew a straight seam and then a zig-zag stitch so it has a little stretch to it.
If you have a Serger you could just serge it.
That’s it! Put it on to dress up your favorite sweater and jeans.
You can wear it doubled up or single. Even though it’s a light weight fabric it help keep the chill off your neck. Thanks so much for letting me be here today Adrianne.

Kadie, that is one cute scarf and you look gorgeous! I always admire your crochet projects (even though I don't possess that skill) and I thought this was going to be another one! Imagine my surprise when I saw it was something I could actually make! Yay!
