Mint Cookie Martini

If you tuned into our last episode of Crafty Hour, you may have been curious about our Girl Scout Cookie cocktail!  Since shaking it up with my co-host Tara, I made a little tweak to the recipe that I like even better, and I’m going to share it here today.  I feel weird assigning booze to the Girl Scouts… so I’m just calling this one a mint cookie martini. ;)

I mentioned on-air that getting that fabulous chocolate swirl on your glass is really easy.  All you need to do is get a bit of chocolate syrup, and squirt a thin line into your glass.  Like so.

There are 2 ways to mix this up.  If you shake it over plenty of ice in a shaker tin, you can serve it up in a martini glass as a lovely cocktail.  Or if you cut the measurements in half, you can serve it as a shot.  Your call.  But if you love mint cookies, you are really going to enjoy this one, trust me!

Hi. You know I love this.

I need to get my hands on some whipped cream vodka. It sounds DELISH!

(Also, sidenote: Kahlua is a fab substitute for the vodka as well!)

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
