Fall Flavors and Fiestas: New Bud Light Lime Apple-Ahhh-Rita

Fall is right around the corner – I could feel it this weekend!  We went from 90 degrees down to 70, just like that.  I love autumn – especially this in-between stage when it still stays light out for a while, you can open the windows at night, and you don’t need a jacket yet.  The kids go to bed earlier with the whole neighborhood back to school and settling into a routine, and my husband and I can unwind out on the deck in the evening.  And if you read here often, you know that’s my time to enjoy a drink – enjoy my bartender – and just re-charge after the chaos of the day.

I do like to mix up a fruity cocktail every so often, but these past few days especially… I’m just looking for easy.  (Is that bad? Haha.)  So coming across the fall flavors in the new Bud Light Lime Apple-Ahhh-Rita is a refreshing change, because it’s Bud Light with a margarita twist, with the fall flavor of apple. It tastes just like autumn!

YUM.

It’s perfect for the fall fiestas you’ve got lined up, because all you need to grab is a 6-pack – or 12-pack!  Apple always brings out the flavor of the season to me, don’t you agree?

It’s perfect for entertaining the girls, for tailgating, for those end-of-the-season barbecues, or like us: just that laid-back time, laughing over a couple drinks and enjoying time together.  You can slice up a few apples and limes to dress it up, pack a glass with plenty of ice, and just pour.  You get all the flavor of a Bud Light cocktail from just one can – no fuss.  And I sure like simple.

It means that instead of stressing over ingredients and party details, you can just kick back with your guests and enjoy – after all it’s a party, right?  (I mean, if there’s Bud Light Lime Apple-Ahhh-Rita’s – of course it is!)

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
