So, my daughter is generally better-dressed than I am. Granted, I’m in that awkward-in-between-regular-and-maternity-clothes phase, and she is growing like a weed and constantly getting a new outfit – but as long as I’m shopping for her, is there any harm in making her look impossibly cute?
Yeah, I din’t think so either. 
I recently discovered the Cookie’s Kids website. It’s perfect for shopping for her age, because it’s not like I try things on her before I buy them anyway, and not having to haul her out in the snow to the store is awesome. I stocked up on a few things for winter. (If you’re all set for your kids’ winter clothes, their spring line is out now – you can get a head start on that instead!)
I spotted this sweet little dress searching for Girls’ Dresses. I’m planning to get Raya’s portraits done soon – wouldn’t this be perfect with a pair of little Mary Janes?
As I mentioned, she’s growing like crazy. So it’s tough to know what size to buy for her. Fortunately, all you have to do is measure your child, and while you’re online, you can click on the Alva Kids icon – it’s right there next to the available sizes, and it will tell you what size you need to buy!

Speaking of my model… you know, have you ever tried to photograph a 2 year old? I swear, we will hardly remember what she looked like at this age, because she’s always just a blur! But sometimes, she thinks she looks good enough to pose for a photo.
Yep, Daddy’s hat apparently ups the cool factor. I just love this little outfit – check out the matching jeans:
I also picked up a few other things, including a great playing-out-in-the-snow jacket.
But my very favorite finds was this sweet peacoat, by far. She’s gotten so many compliments on it already!
And the best part? This is my cart – less than $40 for three matching outfits and two coats!
