Weekend Highlights

Oh my goodness, you mamas linked up 86 fabulous projects! I’m blown away!

How is everyone’s Monday starting out? So far so good here, with the small exception that I have been scheduled for surgery in a week, boo! But, it will fix my GERD, so that will be heavenly.  I am already on my clear-liquid diet to get ready, which is making me a little cranky, but hey – the way is the way, right?  I’ll just let my scale cheer me up every morning.  *sigh*

But back to business.  Did you get a chance to check out some of your amazing neighbors?  In case you missed any of these, let’s get to a few highlights!

Viewer’s Choice with the most clicks was this amazing rustic ladder organizer by Susan at Homeroad.  It’s a beautifully repurposed project.

I just love this idea that Laura at Come Together Kids shared – the Paint Swatch Scavenger Hunt. Easy on the budget and it looks really fun!

Danielle at Blissful and Domestic showed off her sassy little diva in these Zebra Print Leggings she made getting ready for back-to-school.  Too cute!!

This link is my liquid-diet nemesis.  These melt-in-your-mouth barbecue spareribs look SO. CRAZY. GOOD.  Visit Create With Joy for the recipe. {drool}
I first saw Terrie’s felt nuno dolls about a month ago, and they were just beautiful!  Over the weekend she treated us with another felt project, these gorgeous wedding dolls.  I cannot believe the detail in their clothes and I especially love the little bride’s veil.  Really amazing!
Just look at these gorgeous frame purses Bethany over at Sweet Bee Buzzings shared.  I just love all these beautiful bright colors!
Thanks for linking up, mamas!  If you were featured, go ahead and grab a button!

Hope you all have a wonderful week!  ~ Adrianne

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
