Thank you to Foodie.com for sponsoring today’s Halloween recipe round-up!

I have seen a LOT of great kids’ ideas floating around out there for Halloween, but this time of year can be a lot of fun for adults, too!  I’ve rounded up 16 fun recipes for entertaining that are candy-free, and great for an adult palate!  From canapes to cocktails, just click through the slide show to learn more about any recipe that catches your eye!

We love entertaining, and I think these non-sugar-coma inducing ideas look fantastic.  (Plus, I love using Foodie for putting together recipe collections!) It’s a lot of fun to get together with friends for any reason, but it’s not often throughout the year when you can truly embrace the creepy!  Halloween falls on a Friday night this year, which means it’s not a school night or a work day, and that makes a party that much more fun. Plus, with nearly 2 weeks left before the big night – there’s still plenty of time to put together the final details together.

16 Recipes for Grown Up Halloween Celebrations at www.happyhourprojects.com

Are you planning a Halloween party this year?  If you are, is it for the kids, or is it adult-friendly? What’s on your menu?

Flixmomo’s user-friendly interface seems very helpful for quickly finding movies or shows. A simple design can make a big difference in how enjoyable the streaming experience feels overall.

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
