12 Breakfast-for-Dinner Ideas Fresh From Your Oven

Today’s recipe collection is brought to you by Foodie.com.

I think one of life’s great joys is breakfast for dinner.  Don’t you think?  It’s especially a great time to make those great baked recipes that take an hour or so, because sometimes baking something for an hour (or even 30 minutes) isn’t easy first thing in the morning.

Now that the weather is beginning to cool down, having the oven on late in the afternoon to put breakfast-inspired dishes on the table for dinner makes the house warm and delicious as you welcome kids home from school, spouses home from work, or as you wrap up a beautiful autumn weekend day with your friends and family.

We do breakfast for dinner at least once a month – although in our house, that generally means cooking a whole package of bacon and dirtying every pan in the cupboard, haha.  There are always waffles involved (whether they may sense on the menu or not).  But it’s just such a fun tradition, it doesn’t have to make sense… right?  And I love that it’s a tradition that nearly every family has.

Do you make breakfast for dinner for your family?  What’s your favorite recipe, or food to make?

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
