Butterfly Face Paint Video Tutorial

Special thanks to I Love To Create for sponsoring today’s #TulipBodyArt video tutorial!

Hey friends – it’s a fun week over at CraftyHangouts.com this week!  All week long, some star YouTube bloggers are sharing video tutorials for using Tulip Body Art paints to create Halloween fun.  If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably already seen some of our face paint adventures.  It’s a treat I do for my daughter every so often, from small designs on her cheek to full-face motifs.  I’m going to share one of the most-requested designs with you in today’s video face painting tutorial: a butterfly!

We got a chance to try out the shimmer face paints and the neon face paints from Tulip, as well as the glitter tattoo pack!

I’m going to share a twist on this kid-favorite with you today.  In this video, I’m going to be painting myself (oh, and get ready, because this was one of the silliest and strangest videos I’ve ever done for you guys).  If you’re planning a more grown-up night out for Halloween that involves blacklights, then the Tulip neon face paint can make your design amazing!

Hope you enjoy this video, and don’t forget, all week long you can catch more videos over at CraftyHangouts.com!

So, do you typically use face paints for your Halloween costumes?  Are you thinking about it this year?

wE DON’T ALWAYS USE FACE PAINT WITH OUR COSTUMES, BUT SOME YEARS YOU KIND OF HAVE TO. tHIS YEAR MY SON ADOPTED A SPIDERMAN COSTUME BUT IT DOESN’T HAVE A MASK. hE rEALLY WANTS TO WEAR IT SO i THINK WE MIGHT PAINT HIS FACE INSTEAD OF TRYING TO FIND A MASK THAT MATCHES. LOVE YOUR VID BTW. THAT GLOW IN THE DARK PAINT IS AWESOME!

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
