$50 Carter’s Gift Card Giveaway!

If you read here often (or follow me on Twitter) then it probably comes as no surprise that I’m expecting baby #2 at the beginning of August.  Well – we just found out on Wednesday – it’s a boy!  YAY!

He is huge… measuring 12 days ahead already at 20 weeks.  (What can I say, we are a family of overachievers, LOL.)  But now that we know that Raya is having a little brother, that means it’s time to check out some new, boy-friendly gear.

We didn’t go all-out pink with Raya or anything, but there are always a few things you want new for the new baby.  So that’s why I’m drooling over Carter’s new Home Collections – and trying to decide what kind of baby bedding I like for the new little mister’s nursery.

I’m loving the Monkey Rockstar collection, which has got the 4 piece bedding set (the quilt, sheet, dust ruffle & blanket), extra sheets & blankets, and matching decor items like the lamp, rug and wall decals.  It’s definitely a boy collection!

I have to admit that I still like going neutral, though.  I love the In The Pond collection.  The 4 piece set has the quilt, sheet, dust ruffle and a diaper stacker, and the extra bedding and room decor items are available in that collection as well.

Of course they have sweet girls’ collections too, like a Fairy Monkey set.  But Raya has graduated to her toddler bed.  Carter’s has adorable toddler bedding sets that include a comforter, pillow case and flat and fitted sheets with butterflies, ladybugs, fire trucks, and dinosaurs.

We already love Carter’s gear.  Raya has been wearing Carter’s since she was born – and their comfortable styles are perfect for play.  And pizza.  Obviously. ;)

    Congrats! My son measured big, too. He was 9 lbs 12 oz (born at 38 weeks). Now he is 15 1/2 lbs at 13 weeks.
    My daughter was a big baby, too.

    Anyway…I love the sunny safari.

    I was just at Carter’s yesterday. I bought a ton of cute stuff for not that much money…all of the clearance was an extra 20% off and they had already clearanced some spring stuff.

    I love Carter’s clearance sales for clothes for my nephew – seriously, they stop growing at some point, right?

    Also, I put in a vote for the pond room theme. You already have one water-loving baby – I’m guessing the next one is going to be a little fish too!

    I’m partial to the Safari Sky myself, but then I have a family of boys! Love Carter clothes though! They are so soft and cozy.
