Ceramic Bead Layered Bracelet and an O and N Craft Supplies Giveaway

Good morning!  I’ve got a drool-worthy giveaway today from O and N Craft Supplies and the how-to for a fun and easy layered bracelet made from their craft cords and Greek ceramic beads.  Layered bracelets are one of my favorites to make, and the selection of beads at O and N is really beautiful.  Tina sent me a little shipment to play with so that I could show you an idea of what you can make with her beads!  Mixing different shapes and colors with earthy cords gives you an eclectic and organic look:

What you will need:

Ceramic Bead Layered Bracelet at www.happyhourprojects.com

  • 5mm orange round beads
  • 10mm round brass beads
  • 14mm brass ribbon ends and jewelry glue
  • ivory pebble beads
  • 8″ wrapped cotton cord
  • 16″ 3mm silk cord
  • 24″ hemp cord
  • lobster clasp & jump rings

First, when you cut your cords, taping off your cords with prevent them from fraying.  Cut 6 or so cords 8″ long, add a bit of glue to one of your glue on end caps, and secure one end of them in the end cap.  Jewelry glue is quick-drying, so you only need to let it set for a couple minutes before you can begin stringing beads.

Add different shapes and textures to different cords.  I also slid large 10mm brass beads on as spacers every couple inches.

Once you get about 6.5-7 inches strung, cut off all your cords evenly, and clue on the opposite end cap.  When it’s dry, add a clasp and jump ring closure.

And it’s that simple to make up a bracelet with a pop of color and visual variety!

Love the bracelet & colors for fall! I noticed you marked through a couple items like the brass ribbon enda & cotton cord. Does that mean that the store you are recommending is out of these items? If so, where else might we buy them?

I fell in love with Vintage style bicycle charms, antique silver. Definitely a bracelet, something simple that would reflect the vintage charm.
