Clean Routine with Cottonelle

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Cottonelle for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

So a lot of you know… it's potty training central around our house.  I have never in my life discussed the how's and why's of bathroom routines.  (You moms out there know exactly what I mean!)  I had a chance to try out Clean Care toilet paper and Cottonelle flushable wipes, and it was great timing to assess my own routine.

I think one of the things that really got me thinking is that helping my kiddo wipe with dry toilet paper when I'm used to baby wipes was an awkward transition.  A lot of times once we finished in the bathroom, I'd put her up on the changing table and use a wipe anyway, just to make sure she was clean.  Until I was sent the flushable wipes… it honestly never occurred to me that *every* body is really the same.  If I was insisting on baby wipes for her – why hadn't I tried a wipe designed for all of us?  Not to mention – adding flushable wipes in Raya's bathroom sure did simplify things (and probably sent a better message that we do all our business right at the potty).  So, as weird as it may sound – I incorporated them into my clean routine, too.  They have a cloth-like feel and a touch of cotton, and It really does help you feel fresh!

Cottonelle is unveiling a series of hidden camera videos to show people that nothing from a kitchen table to a car can be properly cleaned without the combination of cloth and water.  I mean, you wouldn't wash your car with a dry cloth – why would you settle for dry tissue in your bathroom routine?  Check out this video to see what I mean!

You can test your cleaning logic and see more funny hidden camera videos at Cottonelle.com.  In fact, now through June 30th, when you visit their site, you can submit your entry for a chance to win one of four grand prizes of a $10,000 bahroom makeover!  Awesome, right?

So what would you makeover in your bathroom with a $10,000 budget?  Leave a comment and let me know – and be sure to go enter to win at Cottonelle.com!

I currently rent and live in an older house so my bathroom definitely needs a makeover! The tub is as old as the house and looks terrible. The sink is old as well. I would love if the bathroom were larger, more modern and I had a nice big tub and shower! :)

Hmm, do you think that $10K can rip down my bathroom walls and kill the mold that’s probably hanging out back there? Maybe add in a recessed light and a non-leaking shower head? Ooh, a toilet that doesn’t need zip ties holding it together, that would be good too!

Ohh I would love a $10,000 bathroom makeover! I’m pretty sure with my frugal skills, I could redo an entire bathroom with enough change to buy me a Mountain Dew. Hmm…challenge accepted!! ;)

Love Cottonelle flushable wipes! We have them in every bathroom in our house :) If I had 10,000 dollars I would definitely makeover our master bathroom! I would love granite countertops and a tiled shower.

Great post! With 10,000 dollars I could afford to get an entire NEW bathroom, and that’s just what I would do. :)

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
