Cyber Monday Deals at Consumer Crafts

I never got too into Black Friday shopping… I mean, I love a deal as well as anyone, but I’m not the type to grab something solely because it’s a deal. I’m a lot more likely to do some comparison-shopping and research on the things I really want rather than buy something in the heat of the moment. So I love the Cyber Monday sales, and as a crafter I’m especially excited about the ones that Consumer Crafts is running starting this Thursday with virtual “doorbusters”, running through next week Cyber Monday, when the entire site is 30% off!

Consumer Crafts

Ever since I found Consumer Crafts, I recommend them to everyone! The prices and selection are fantastic. I’m a mom… and my daughter can only handle so much of me perusing *all* the aisles of the things I’m interested in. ;) A quick search of their online inventory finds me exactly what I’m looking for, so it’s also a time-saver.  Several of the projects you find here at Happy Hour are made with products I got on the Consumer Crafts website.

I’m full-swing into Christmas Crafting right now, and there are a bunch of supplies at Consumer Crafts that caught my eye!  I’m not much of a cook, so I love the idea of this gingerbread house kit!  I always remember the gingerbread village we made in school when I was a kid, and I’ve always wanted to make another.

About all the baking I do this time of year is cookies… and I think this little make-your-own Cookie Plate is a fun idea to do with your kids!

I also have some ideas for some glittery ornaments this year – Consumer Crafts has a big selection of clear glass ornaments to have fun with.

They also have great prices on the stuff I use all the time, like this awesome Sculpey sampler pack.

Scupley clay

(I love Sculpey clay – if you’re an addict like me, be sure to take a peek at my polymer clay projects!)

I also have a thing for jewelry-making, and Consumer Crafts has a huge selection of beads and findings.  My daughter’s birthstone is turquoise… I’ve got my eye on some of these turquoise beads:

What about you?  Are you planning some Christmas crafting soon?  Or maybe you have something on your list that Consumer Crafts has on sale this weekend!  As you’re making your weekend shopping list – check out just a few of may favorite deals.

  • On Thursday, each order ships with a free tote bag.  30 random bags will be filled with up to $200 in bonus goodies!
  • The sales run all weekend, though Monday, when the entire site is 30% off!
  • If you have a Silhouette Cameo on your wish list, make sure you let Santa know that it’s 239.97 this weekend at Consumer Crafts.  If you’ve got your eye on a Cricut machine instead, The Expression V1 & V2 and Cuttlebug are also great deals!
  • Consumer Crafts will also be kicking of their weekend sales with a Silhouette Cameo giveaway this Wednesday, 11/21 at their blog, Crafts Unleashed.  You can keep up with what’s new by following them of Facebook and Twitter as well!

So – what sorts of crafty things are on your holiday wishlist this year?

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
