Hey friends! I’ve got a fun project I want to share with you today on the home decor front! I had a lot of fun working on a lamp makeover recently, and I love how the finished piece turned out. I’ve been playing more and more with mixed media artwork, so this is a fitting accessory to my creative workspace.
This project *did* take me more than an hour. But I worked on it a little at a time over the course of a couple of days to allow each layer to dry before moving on. So as long as you have space on your work-in-progress area, it’s easy to break this project up into 10-20 minute segments. (A quick note – I created this in partnership with Design•Memory•Craft®. If you’d like the full tutorial and complete supply list, you can check out the post that I wrote for their blog by clicking here.)
I know this is a bit of a break from my signature quick projects, but I enjoyed using an everyday item as my canvas and turning it into functional art. DIY home decor can be a lot of fun! The “Dream Big” theme is perfect for my studio, but it would also look great in kids’ rooms (or kids at heart).
Springtime is a great season for thrifting, so save this idea to Pinterest for the next time you pick up a piece that needs a makeover. It’s a colorful solution to outdated home decor!
See you guys again soon ~

This is great. I will try to copy this one. Thanks for sharing!
Thoughtful blog post . I loved the facts ! Does anyone know where my company would be able to get ahold of a blank Employee Pay Stub document to complete ?
