DIY Shamballa-Style Bracelet

Good morning friends!  How’s the weather in your neck of the woods?  I have been shoveling my driveway for hours upon hours the past couple days (who needs the gym now, right? haha) so I haven’t had the craft time I wanted, boo!  BUT – I still have a fun Shamballa-style bracelet tutorial that I want to share with you!

DIY Shamballa BraceletI made up this beauty with bamboo cord and some sparkly beads (no clasp, it’s even got a sliding knot closure that I will show you how to make), so it’s a really inexpensive project that will take about an hour.  If you’re snowed in like me and have beads and twine – you’ve got a project!  I shared the full photo tutorial over at the Crafts Unleashed blog, so if you’d like to read more, head on over and check it out, and say hello!

Grabbing the shovel and wishing I had just stayed snowed in ~

This is really pretty! I’ve looked at those kinds of beads before and wondered what I’d do with them. They are so sparkly!

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
