Hey guys!  Fall is definitely here, and with the new school year, I tend to think of fall as the time to make changes.  I’m not much of a New-Year-Resolution girl, but every year I assess my goals, and when we settle into our cool-weather routine, I find that’s one of the best times to implement them.  So I’m really excited to share with you guys that I’ve partnered with Absopure in my personal goal to drink more water.  Absopure has set me up with home delivery so that I show you how the program works and – hopefully – inspire you to drink more water as well. It has so many health benefits!
So there’s my big bad cooler, tucked nicely into a small corner.  For a while now, we’ve been going through a lot of plastic bottles.  The cooler is a great way to reduce waste AND space in the refrigerator, too.  My son is only 2 so we had an interesting first day getting him NOT to touch it (it only took one day for him to stop testing me, haha), but my daughter is 4.  With her “special cup”, she’s actually pouring water for herself and drinking a couple of cups a day voluntarily.  You would think we had been trying to poison her with tap water (not literally, of course – we have very good city water where I live) but the fact that she can be independent and enjoy it on her own terms is helping her to develop a love for water.  I could never get her to drink a glass of water before!  I think that’s really a critical love, because, for many of us, drinking more water is a chore, isn’t it?  So I am so excited to be able to help her start to choose water early on.
See this? Â This is my daughter, filling up our bottle at ArtPrize last week. Â Absopure partnered with Spectrum Health to offer free water refills in the Water Share Program. Â If you stopped at the Hub, the Lounge, the Clubhouse, or the Hospitality Center, you could refill your bottle totally free. Â We are pretty serious in Michigan about recycling – every carbonated beverage has a bottle deposit on it to encourage recycling. Â Now, this is not the case (yet, anyway) with plastic water bottles, but none of us like the idea of throwing a plastic bottle in the trash. Â Being able to refill our bottles is huge here, and I’m so excited that MYÂ brand – Absopure – stepped up and offered this service to ArtPrize guests.
You may have seen my video that I posted on Facebook about ArtPrize – I actually entered a piece for my second year this year! Â I didn’t win (and I didn’t expect to) but it’s so much fun to just be a part of such a huge event with artists from all callings.
It was really exciting to partner with a brand who loves the ArtPrize event like I do, and who offered their services for everyone here at the event to enjoy.  All you had to do was grab a sticker and refill at any of the water share locations around the city.
If you didn’t catch my video when I posted it, you can see it right here:
Happening right now: catch me at ArtPrize in downtown Grand Rapids! I’m at the Club House sharing how to stay hydrated with Absopure while you’re seeing art during the event!

So I hope this all shows you how excited I am to be partnering with Absopure going forward.  I’ll be sharing some water bottle crafts, ideas to recycle, and more in the coming months.  Home (and office!) delivery service is available in Michigan, Greater St. Louis, Central Illinois and the Greater Toledo Area.  Not only do they have cooler service like what I shared above, but you can have bottled water delivered (to toss one into your kids’ lunchboxes!) and they also have Keurig and K-Cup service!
I already had a Keurig, so it was SO convenient just to add my favorite K-Cup flavors to my delivery order.  (If you don’t currently have a Keuring coffee maker, it’s another lease service they can provide!)  If you’re in a local Absopure delivery area, you can get a FREE TRIAL of Absopure’s home and office refreshment services by calling (800) 499-9938, or signing up online for a free 30-day trial.  Be sure to tell them you read about it here at Happy Hour Projects!
I’ve had service for 2 weeks now, and I’m seriously thrilled with how much easier it is to drink more water by making it convenient, and that it gets delivered right to my door. Â Even if you’re not in an Absopure delivery area, Absopure water is sold in every state at most local stores, so be on the lookout for my brand!
Disclosure: Â I was not paid for this post, but I was compensated with free home delivery from Absopure as part of an ongoing relationship in the Absopure Blogger Program. Â
Really helpful tips and ideas that everyone can follow through to stay healthy. Thanks for it.

Explain more about the K cup service. They just deliver them?
They do! If you don’t already have a Keurig, you can even lease one for around $15 a month, and they’ll also deliver your coffee supply as well. I’m not sure about getting just coffee delivered by itself, but it was super easy to add my coffee to my monthly order, now that I’m leasing a cooler and getting a delivery anyway. I don’t know if you saw in the photo,, but I’m a huge fan of Caramel Vanilla Cream and Pumpkin Spice (this time of year, anyway) and the Caramel Vanilla is sometimes tough to find in-store. But they had it, along with about 70 other flavors, so chances are, your favorite is probably on the list as well. :)
that would be nice to have a water thinger in the house always hot always cold.
I too am addicted to my keurig. Its amazing! i enjoyed this post thanks for sharing!
I try very hard to drink a lot of water. But lately I have been slacking. Thank you for the reminder
We drink a LOT of water in our house. It would be nice to get my kids to be independent with getting their own drinks – but I have an 18 month old. I’m not sure I could get him to leave it alone, haha.
We LOVE our Absopure cooler! We definitely drink more water because of it.
My kids also love being able to get their own water from the fancy contraption ;) Isn’t it funny what will make something novel to them?
We’ve gone to bottled water over concerns about the lead pipes in our really old house. Having a talk with the kids dentist this week about how the reduction in fluroide impacts them and if we need to do anything special because it isn’t in the drinking water now.
I love water, I drink it like crazy. Even more so now that I’ve given up my Diet Coke addiction. And depending on your definition of poison and fluoride your daughter might be on to something ;-) I drink filtered water now that I’ve given up pop because I’m also trying to limit my fluoride intake and it makes a huge difference. I can’t handle drinking tap water anymore. I think it’s so cool that you did ArtPrize, I never made my way downtown this year and I”m so bummed. I need to get better about going down for it next year. :-)
Our teenage daughter only drinks water or milk. Water around the clock. I drink a lot, but in reality I could probably be drinking more.
I’ve been wanting to check out ArtPrize for so long and haven’t gotten around to it yet!
I am new to following your blog. I will put ArtPrize on my list of events to attend in 2016. When you said that you “entered a art piece but were not expecting to win.” Actually, you already did win because you took action, created a piece, and entered it. Congratulations! So many creatives only “think about the great piece they could make and enter, and dream about winning.” You can’t “win” if you don’t enter. Who knows what will happen next year!
