So the trends this season are moving from big and bold to more delicate chains. Â It’s a trend I wasn’t sure how I would like, but it turns out I LOVE it! Â So I’ve been embracing the fine chains when I put this quick project together: a pair of DIY drop earrings. Â They only take a couple of minutes to make, and you can use whatever kind of beads you love for the look that’s right for you! Â Whether it’s understated (like these), big bling, or something in between, the beauty of making your own jewelry is that you can make the look that’s right for you.
You can make your own easy drop earrings in your favorite colors using a few supplies from Blitsy Crafts – where I’m sharing the full tutorial this week.  If you aren’t familiar with Blitsy – you should be!  It’s an online retailer of discount craft supplies, with flash sale events and everyday deals on the staples you need to stock your craft room.
You can shop Blitsy anytime to save (you know, on everything you’re buying anyway), or stop over for inspiration at their creative blog (where I’m also a design team member)!  You can catch the tutorial for these DIY drop earrings, and shop for any supplies you may still need while you’re there.  If you sign up and place your first order within 24 hours, you even get $10 off that order.  (Yep – free craft supplies!  Does it get better than that?)
Come on over, say hi, and check out the easy how-to. Â Hope you’re enjoying a great weekend!

wow looking good
I seriously love your blog. So many cute ideas! It’s too bad I don’t have more time. I have started picking one craft project a week that my daughter and I can work on together. This weekend, we’re making a felt Christmas tree for her bedroom.
Reading posts like this make surfing such a plerusae
Liz I can only give you my past experiences. I used a cab once to attend The Playboy Jazz Festival. Dropping off was a cinch. Getting a cab afterwards was very difficult. They did not have a taxi stand where cabs line up. All the traffic is coming out of the Bowl. We had to start walking up the road and wait for one to come. Things may have changed since. Call the Hollywood Bowl Box Office and ask if this has been solved.
looks like the party was lots of fun. i really want those waffles. like now. you had to post so many pictures because…? hahaand youre 100% right about raynaud’s. i was “diagnosed” back in high school and my doctor told me that basically the only thing i could do was more to a warmer climate haha
Hahahaha. I’m not too bright today. Great post!
Very cute earrings. What a neat idea and very creative to make them for that cheap too.

I wish I could wear those type of earrings, but my ears are ripping. I love long earrings, very cute!
Discount craft supplies….that could be a dangerous site for me!! These earrings are so cute! Definitely my style for sure
Very cute. I wish i was crafty. I’ll have to show this post to my daughter who is.
with the huge markups at jewelry stores if you like to regularly coordinate with your fashion styles seems like DIY may be the way to go – plus that really does provide a personal touch to your accessories
You always have such cute stuff on this site. I’m envious of the skill it must take to create it all.
What an easy to make project. I think I can actually do this one. Thanks for sharing.
This looks totally do-able! Thanks!
Very cute. I need to branch out with my crafting.
