DIY Tim Holtz Word Band Easy Friendship Bracelets

10/30/2015 by Adrianne Surian 12 Comments

Hey friends!  I’ve got something extra-friendly to share today: a fun take on friendship bracelets!  These easy friendship bracelets make up in no time at all.  You can use your favorite connectors from the jewelry department, or just take a look around.  Lots of items can be made into interesting and unique jewelry – in fact, I found these awesome word bands while shopping the scrapbook section.  So many kinds of embellishments can be turned into these fun and easy bracelets!

DIY Tim Holtz Word Band Friendship Bracelets at www.happyhourprojects.com

You can make your own word band friendship bracelets in your favorite colors using a few supplies from Blitsy Crafts –where I’m sharing the full tutorial this week.  If you aren’t familiar with Blitsy – you should be!  It’s an online retailer of discount craft supplies, with flash sale events and everyday deals on the staples you need to stock your craft room.

You can shop Blitsy anytime to save (you know, on everything you’re buying anyway), or stop over for inspiration at their creative blog (where I’m also a design team member)!  You can catch the tutorial for these Tim Holtz word band friendship bracelets, and shop for any supplies you may still need while you’re there.  If you sign up and place your first order within 24 hours, you even get $10 off that order.  (Yep – free craft supplies!  Does it get better than that?)

Come over and say hi and check out the easy how-to.  I’ll see you guys again soon – and HAPPY HALLOWEEN to you all!

These are very cute. I really like the idea of putting faith words on them. I might use this in the future for my small group that I am starting. They look very easy to make.

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
