Happy Easter and GO BLUE!

First of all – HAPPY EASTER!  We have a nice, laid-back day planned around here.  Raya should be up soon to fins her basket, and we’ll have brunch with my family in a few hours.  But this afternoon, my husband and I are both so excited – our Wolverines are still in the basketball tournament this year!  It has been a long time since they’ve advanced this far.  And this is how the very best holidays are spent – with family and a good meal, and then kicking back with some snacks to watch sports. ;)   I had the opportunity the weekend to partner with Collective Bias and Kettle Brand Potato Chips to show you how we celebrate the #KettleMadness basketball tournament!

We’ve watched every round already, and my mom even joined us Friday night for the last game.  We had a lazy night in, had some pizza and some Kettle Chips, and watched the Wolverines pull off an awesome upset in overtime.  Raya was so excited that my husband had gotten her a sweatshirt like mine – as soon as she showed it to her, her face lit up seeing the block “M” and she shouted, “Michigan!”

Yeah… we watch some sports around here.  It’s a well-known fact that the game is always on at our house, and we usually get a few people dropping by to visit.  This year we’ve had more opportunities to watch Michigan play!  My mom even joined us on Friday for the overtime win against Kansas.

My daughter, the hostess… hey, at least she shares. ;) It’s the only reason we allow her to have a few, because we all enjoy a nice snack.  She loves Kettle Chips for the same reason we do – they taste awesome.  We are a Kettle Brand Potato Chip family – it’s been our brand of choice for a while now.  They are real chips, made with real ingredients, by real people, with the freshest natural ingredients.  Have you tried them before?

If you love Kettle Brand Potato Chips – then be sure to print a coupon for $1.00 off!  (Note – clicking the link will open a new window to print – or you can click the coupon widget in the right sidebar!)  If you haven’t tried them before, saving a dollar is a great time to see what you think!  Kettle Brand Chips are available at Walmart and many other retailers.

You can visit my G+ album to read more about my last shopping trip to pick up Kettle Brand chips.  The Sea Salt flovor is our favorite, but we also buy the Backyard Barbecue flavor quite often!  Kettle Chips also come in Sea Salt & Vinegar, Slat & Fresh Ground Pepper, and Jalapeno flavors – just to name a few!

We’re looking forward to this afternoon’s game!  Who are you cheering for to win this year?

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
