My daughter was born just before Christmas (I can’t believe she is about to turn 4 already!) and man, that was a whirlwind of a month that year. I went from nesting, to learning about a new baby, to sleep deprivation, to Christmas day, all in a matter of weeks.

We were able to prepare a lot of things ahead of time, like getting the shopping done and the decorations up, but I feel like I can safely say, that was the last year we had any amount of calm during the month of December – and a lot of that was because brand new babies sleep so much. Haha.

This year, she’s all about Santa, and my son is at the age where all the ornaments get pulled off the tree. Which keeps things interesting!

It’s been so much fun, but I’d be lying if I said we weren’t on-the-go from Thanksgiving right up until Christmas. Shopping, traveling, baking, wrapping – if you’re a parent, you know just what I mean! There have been times when the kids eat a little something in the grocery cart because the store was a lot busier than I anticipated. Happy Family foods are great for times like these – I can bring some organic puffs to keep little mister happy, and with the added DHA and probiotics, it’s a snack that I feel good about. Visit the Happy Family website to learn about organic baby and toddler food!

I especially love the fruit and veggie pouches. They’re great for at home, but I mainly pick them up for the babysitters! If Kevin and I have to do some top-secret Santa business, it makes dinnertime so much easier to leave instructions for, and to bring along if we’re dropping the kids off with a friend or a family member. Not everyone is prepared for healthy baby and toddler meals, so I know that my son can still get a nutritious meal – without any extra hassle for someone doing us a huge favor!

And even better, right now you can enjoy a $1 off coupon for Happy Family baby food pouches. Fore more great freebies, be sure to also join Happy Family on Facebook and enter to win during December’s #TistheSqueezin giveaways!

Are your holidays as hectic as ours? What’s your best tip for taking babies on-the-go this time of year?
