Happy Mango Beads Giveaway!

If you make jewelry (or you’re looking to get started) you are going to LOVE today’s giveaway!  I am a big fan of Happy Mango Beads, and I use their beads in a lot of my projects.  When I saw the bead package they are offering to a Happy Hour Projects reader, the first thing I said was, “Oh, I want to keep this for myself!!”  Haha.

When I want something exotic, something different, or something special, Happy Mango Beads is where I look.  They have a huge selection of natural beads – like shell, bone, stone, and lava beads, which if you know my style, you know I love.  If you can’t find it in your average craft store, Happy Mango is where to look – they also have a huge Ethnic section, including beads that are up to 1200 years old.  I’ve recently bought some old glass Arabic Prayer beads for a special project, and I have my eye on some beautiful ancient Roman Glass as well… next time I really splurge, anyway.  Excavated pieces of ancient history aren’t something I’m going to pick up just for my stash, haha.  But it’s so special to me to create a piece with a beautiful backstory like that.  That is one of the reasons I drool over the beads at Happy Mango!  (You would think they were paying me to say so, but I really just love them!)

As much as I love the hard-to-come-by beads, they have a huge selection of the classics at great prices.  You will probably recognize a few of my favorite tutorials made with their beads (you can click the images if you want to know more about the projects):

Stone, Bone, and Lava Bead Layered Bracelet at www.happyhourprojects.com Glass Bead Macrame Bracelet at www.happyhourprojects.com
Beautiful beads, right?  Well, they are stepping it up today with this coordinated black and white bead package worth $105!

The group of black and white beads are all stunning. I have never purchased a Silver Tibetan Prayer Box Pendant and would love to work with one. The feather beads are also beautiful.

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
