Join Us Friday for Crafty Hour!

Tomorrow is CRAFTY HOUR once again!  Tara and I will be live-broadcasting another one-hour craft and cocktail session on G+ and YouTube, open to anyone who wants to tune in.  Sound like fun?  It is!  Here’s what we’ll be doing this week.

Join Us For Crafty Hour and Win Free Craft Supplies!

Tomorrow’s cocktail is the recipe for a Sweet Tart Martini, and we’ll also be showing you how to etch glassware at home.  It’s a great way to dress up a thrift find, or a piece from the dollar store.  We hope you can join us!  Read on for what you need to know to craft (and sip) along with us.

Bring the following if you’re tuning in live:

  • Vodka
  • Blue Curacao
  • Chambord or Razzmatazz
  • Sour Mix
  • Cocktail shaker, a rocks or martini glass, and plenty of ice
  • An inexpensive or thrifted piece of glass
  • Etching Cream (I use Armour Etch) and a paintbrush
  • vinyl or painter’s tape for creating a stencil
  • a way to cut your stencil – vinyl cutting machine, scrapbook punches, or an exacto knife
  • access to running water and optionally, rubber gloves

Then join in the fun at 8pm EST / 5pm PST at this link:

https://plus.google.com/events/c6cbgt3cjsj1uh6pvf85p9jjpag – it’s a public event, just RSVP yes!

You can also catch it on YouTube after it airs.  You’ll want to be sure to subscribe to Tara’s YouTube Channel and My YouTube Channel so you have access to all the episodes whenever it’s convenient for you to watch.

Finally, enter the giveaway!

We are so excited about the idea of you guys tuning in, that we want to give one lucky participant the supplies you will need for the next episode!  So today through tomorrow’s broadcast, we’ve got a giveaway running for a $25 jewelry making starter kit including beads, findings and tools.  Readers and fans in the US and Canada are eligible to enter and win (void where prohibited).

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
