Kicking Off Clutch Season with Bear Rabbit Bear!

Happy Monday morning!  I have a special guest today – Melanie from Bear Rabbit Bear Crafts!  She has a fun series coming up she would like to tell you about, and she is also sponsoring an adorable giveaway!!

~ Adrianne

Hi, Happy Hour readers! I’m Melanie, and I blog over at Bear Rabbit Bear Crafts. Hopefully some of you recognize me, but for those of you who do not, here’s a few brief tidbits about me and my blog:

  • I love sewing things for my daughter, so you’ll see several sewing projects on my blog. As a result, my daughter usually has to model for my blog a minimum of once a day.
  • I recently purchased a version of Photoshop off eBay, and I love the difference in my pictures! This has led to a Photoshop addiction. I wonder if there’s therapy for that?
  • I’m obsessed with my Things I’ve Done Thursday link party. I may or may not do a happy dance every time someone links up.
  • As much as I love sewing, the two most popular and most viewed projects on my blog have nothing to with a sewing machine.
  • I love making cupcakes. This is mainly because regular cakes are too difficult to decorate.
  • I was Home Ec. state champ in high school.
  • I think Adrianne at Happy Hour Projects is the best! I have no idea how she makes so much cute jewelry. I’m still waiting to hear how large her jewelry box is…
I hope to see you over my way soon, especially since I’m hosting a FUN, SUPER-COOL, Clutch week May 20-26th called “Don’t Clutch My Clutch- Make Your Own!”! Summer time is a great time to carry a clutch instead of a huge purse, so a few other talented ladies and I wanted to make sure that you know how to whip one up!

Here’s what you can look forward to for next week:
May 20th– Clutch tutorial and GIVE-AWAY from Finding My Way in Texas
May 21st– Pleated Summer Clutch tutorial from Bear Rabbit Bear Crafts
May 22nd– Clutch tutorial from The “Food War” & Other Tales
May 23rd– Making a clutch using a Simplicity pattern from Bear Rabbit Bear Crafts
May 24th– Things I’ve Done Thursday link party at Bear Rabbit Bear Crafts- link up any projects, but all clutches linked up will get a feature post the following week!
May 25th– Ruffled Clutch tutorial from Bear Rabbit Bear Crafts
May 25th– Clutch tutorial and GIVE-AWAY from the Little Giggler

Head to my blog to grab a button to remind yourself and spread the word to others to stop by! Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
