Leap Frog Animal Adventure Learning Table Review

Thank you to LeapFrog for sponsoring this review. For more information about the LeapFrog Animal Adventure Learning Table, please visit their website. #LFAnimalAdv #spon
My kid is a genius.

I know every parent thinks this at some point, and truth be told, I’m sure she is right on track, and all your kids are just as smart. :) But she really impressed me when we got this new toy.  I didn’t even have it out of the box yet, and the first thing she said was:

“HIPPO!”

She knows the word hippo?  She knows the word hippo!  It was an awesome mommy-moment. :)

As excited as she was to find out what this new toy was all about, I’m really happy to report that it assembles in seconds – you just snap the legs in.  (If your kiddo isn’t ready for standing play yet, you can leave the legs off and they can play on the floor.)

I set it up for her, and she circled around the table, giggling every time she found something new.  She checked out all the activity stations – there are 7 of them, plus two modes, so there’s a lot of variety here – over 100 songs and responses.  And I know that’s important to moms and dads… that it’s not just the same 3 or 4 things repeated over and over.  And over.  And over.  Ahem.  :)

The age range on the Animal Adventure Learning Table is 6 months – 36 months.  Raya, at 22 months, had the most fun banging on the drum in the middle, making music and watching the different shapes light up.

She also pointed out all the animals, made the noises she knew (I confess, we were stuck when we got to the giraffe) and of course, checked out the hippo, and the mirror underneath (she said “open!” when she discovered that it lifted).  She danced to the music she was making. :)  Older kids can also benefit from learning colors, counting, letters, and other vocabulary.  Younger ones can enjoy the lights and sounds while developing their motor skills and strength while sitting, standing, and cruising.

The Animal Adventure Learning Table is available in stores now with a retail price of $39.99.  Or come on over and share with Raya, she would love to show you hers.

Raya is too cute! She is so excited about that table! I love how versatile the table is! Some of those only target a specific age group but the range on this one makes it worth it!

Ha ha,..she certainly looks like she is having a great time. I love how she knew hippo and you didn't know she knew the word hippo. What a great activity centre that can cover such an age span.

That looks SO fun! My youngest would be in heaven, and it's perfect for that age because they'll do anything, as long as they can stand! Thanks for sharing!

That looks AWESOME!! Raya looks so excited and pleased. Lotte was walking by when I opened your post and she said “awww, pretty girl” :) To bad we don't live closer and they could play together, with Raya's new toy.

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
