Make Something AstroBright

This post brought to you by Astrobrights Papers by Neenah Paper. All opinions are 100% mine.

I’m a craft-a-holic.  I’ll own that.  Fabric, wood, jewelry, paper… I love it all.  I heard recently about some of the cool things that AstroBrights papers are doing right now, and I wanted to get in on it, and tell you a little more about it.

Paper crafts are one of the more versatile, kid-friendly, and budget-friendly ways to craft.  I was content for hours as a kid with some glue and some bright papers.  AstroBrights papers come in 23 colors, so they’re great for the basics like printing an eye-catching flyer or scrapbooking with their cardstocks, but I also love and the self-adhesive paper – which lets you print stickers for your project (or your kids!) on-demand.

Right now, AstroBrights papers is bringing you the AstroBrights Back To School $30,000 Sweepstakes. You can win a $500 gift card for you, and school supplies valued at $30,000 for the school of your choice.  There’s no purchase necessary, and the details & official rules are available at Astrobrights’ Facebook Page – but enter to win by September 10, 2012.  I would love to “Give A Brighter Year” to a deserving school – I’m sure you would, too!

Not only are they sponsoring the sweepstakes, but the part I am excited about is the challenge: to “Make Something Astrobright”.  This design challenge is to incorporate AstroBrights papers, submit your pics and video for the chance to win a $100 Visa Gift card – just check out AstroBrights’ Facebook Page for the details.   Stay tuned to see what I’m making!

The AstroBrights community on Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter is a great source of inspiration.  You can share your ideas there and get inspired!

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
