So, I’m not ashamed to admit that I enjoy bad puns. Â It’s humor that’s so silly it’s funny, to me. Â So for today’s Craft Lightning project, I’m bringing out the puns. Â Oh yes. Â If you’re looking for Mother’s Day crafts that are fast and inexpensive, I’ve got you covered with this idea! Â You can also download the images for the free printable at the bottom of this post, so read on to score a set of seed-themed Mother’s Day cards!
Some of these cards are a little on the sassy side, and some are a little more sweet. Â You can print them in any size you like, but I recommend putting 4 on a page for a 4.25″ x 5.5″ card.
You’ll only need a few things to make these at home. Â You can click through any of the following affiliate links below if you need to shop for supplies!
- 110 lb. white card stock
- paper trimmer
- seed packets
- printable themed images (free download)
Cut your cards apart (I recommed using a paper trimmer for nice, straight lines).  Cut two horizontal lines across the center of the card but not all the way through.  Leave 1/4″ – 1/2″ intact on each side of the card.
Then, slide your seed packet through the slits in the card. Â Yep – it’s that easy! Â You can leave as much or as little room as you like so that you can write a personal message, or sign the card. Â This is a perfect kind of card to give to your group of mom-friends, co-workers, teachers – any type of group where you’d like to give something small to acknowledge the day, without breaking the bank.
You can download the images for these cards by clicking here.
I hope you enjoy this lightning-fast idea!  Now, as part of Craft Lightning, I’m rounding up some other great Mother’s Day crafts for you, all of which you can make at home in 15 minutes or less!  Click on any image below to learn more about these projects from Jen Gallacher, Carla Schauer, Sparkle Living, Mad in Crafts, Tinsel and Wheat, Laura’s Crafty Life, Ann Makes, and My Very Educated Mother.
