DIY Fairy Garden Guest House and a Springtime Collection from #MyFavoriteBloggers

DIY Fairy Guest House

We are trying really hard to think spring over here in western Michigan.  It doesn't seem to be working, though.  I mentioned in my post yesterday when I showed off my daughter's fairy-themed room that we made this little fairy guest house by repurposing a decorative lantern over the weekend.  Fairy ...

Fairy Room Reveal

Fairy Room Reveal with National Builder Supply at www.happyhourprojects.com

Well, I've been working on a labor of love.  It's so difficult to get work done in a little girl's room because by the time I have time to work on it, she's in there sleeping. ;) So I've been tackling Raya's fairy bedroom a little at a time over the last month or so, and I'd really like to share how ...

Easy Skillet Pork Chops

Easy Skillet Pork Chops at www.happyhourprojects.com

So we can't really get to the grill right now, it's still buried under a couple feet of snow.  So we are missing our steaks and pork chops!  Fortunately, I've got a backup way of skillet-baking pork chops in the oven.  Oven-baked pork chops are really simple and as long as you have a seasoned cast ...

Beaded Dollar Store Wine Glasses at www.happyhourprojects.com

Now, I know some of you out there would never, ever cheap out on wine, or what kind of glass you drink it from.  That's cool.  I get it.  I'm not a wine aficionado myself.  That means my wine glasses are from the dollar store, because they only come out of the glass rack a few times a year anyway. ...

Happy Hearts Day: 9 Love-Themed Projects

02/14/2014

9 Love-themed Projects at www.happyhourprojects.com

Are you working on last-minute valentines today? (Or did you get them all finished up late last night? Haha.) We don't have much going on here with my kiddos not in school quite yet, just some cards and a little chocolate splurge.  But, I wanted to take a minute to say happy Valentine's day to all ...

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
