Raya - Sunglasses

Thank you to Carter's for sponsoring today's post and reader giveaway! All the opinions expressed here are my own - see below for additional disclosure. I love being a mom.  If you're a mom, you know why.  It's not any one thing, it's all those little things.  It's this: And... the 50 ...

Staining Made Simple with Flood (And the Better Backyard Sweepstakes!)

05/09/2013

Bean Bag Toss Game at happyhourprojects.com

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Flood® Wood Care for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine. So I have to admit, as much as I paint - I rarely stain.  It's just that when you "rescue" thrift pieces, the trend is chalk paint.  So when I had the opportunity to try Flood® Wood ...

On-The-Go Tic Tac Toe Game

05/08/2013

Tic Tac Toe On the Go at happyhourprojects.com

I've seen several versions of the classic tic tac toe game floating around out there, so this is by no means my own genius idea, LOL.  But I did whip up a simple little game board and pieces over the weekend, and I wanted to show you how I put it together!  It was a great one-hour project for me ...

A Letter to My Kids (and a Pampers Giveaway)

05/07/2013

This review was made possible by Double Duty Divas and Pampers. I was provided the featured product free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% mine. Almost everything I know about being a mom is what my kids have taught me.  Does that seem strange?  I mean, you would think ...

Classic Charm Bracelet

Classic Charm Bracelet at happyhourprojects.com

Today's project is a perfect one for a girls' craft night or even a camp craft for older girls.  Making charms aren't difficult, but it does take fine motor skills that younger girls probably won't have.  The first charm bracelet I ever made was a a woman's retreat a few years back, and it was the ...

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
