Our babies’ “firsts” are always exciting, aren’t they? The first smiles, laughs, first words, first steps… I think it’s especially important to me, knowing that Roman’s firsts are the last time we will get to enjoy baby firsts in our house. I am so excited for his first Christmas this year!! I mean, look at this cutie…
Raya was a December baby… and man, we barely remember Christmas with a baby just a few days old. So my husband and I are really looking forward to the holidays – we will be celebrating in the new house for the first time, and it’s the first year as a family of 4. I can hardly wait!

Ooooo there are so many firsts that are so wonderful! Ummmm I just heard my new nephew laugh for the first time, I think that is my favorite… the first time hearing a baby laugh, it’s pure joy. :)
I remember when my third child first came home from the hospital and cried with that tiny newborn cry…..I looked at him and said, “If that’s the best you can do, you’re in a world of hurt”….of course that cute newborn cry didn’t last long! ;)
