Glass Pebble Scrap Magnets

Looking for a fun and functional craft on the cheap?  These magnets are a great way to combine your favorite paper scraps with dollar store glass gems, and they’re not hard to make at all!  It’s been a long, long Michigan winter, and I am SO thinking spring over here!  We may still have plenty of snow, but I brightened up my kitchen by using bright spring colors in this easy to make set.

I picked some of my favorite Core’dinations patterned papers (and I’m totally digging the polka dots right now), busted out the Mod Podge, and shared the full tutorial over at the Core’dinations blog this week.  If you’re starting to change seasons in your decor too, these are great for the frig, for the classroom, or for the family whiteboard.  They’re also great for holidays, birthdays, vacation mementos… so many possibilities for just pennies, once you have the basic supplies.

Stop on over to get the tutorial, and say hello!  Are you thinking spring where you live, too?  What colors are you loving this year?  I’m really into aqua all of a sudden, but I’d love to hear what’s hot in your home!

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
