Quick and Easy Leather Wrap Bracelet

Good morning and happy Monday!  You may remember I promised to show you a few 10-minute-or-less projects while I’m home with my babies (okay, one is a big girl, but you now what I mean) and I have a fun, simple leather wrap bracelet to show you today.

What you will need:

I will leave links to the supplies I used for this project in case you want to check them out for yourself.  These are not affiliate links; I don’t get anything if you decide to make a purchase – but because so often readers ask where to find certain specialty supplies, I want to share where these came from.  I haven’t seem most of these in craft stores.  (And thank you Goody Beads for the care package!)

  • 13 inches (or more!) of 5mm leather – you want approximately 6.5 inches of length for each wrap.  This is a double-wrap bracelet, so I used 13 inches.
  • Beads with 5mm holes (I especially love these beads you can attach a charm to) – I used a mix of metal and ceramic beads
  • 5mm End Cap Clasp Set
  • Jewelry Glue

I used about a half dozen beads for each wrap.  That was enough to give it a minimalist look – you can certainly use more or less beads for whatever look you enjoy.

Then – just glue on the end caps!  These caps will clasp together and don’t need any additional findings.

Then, I attached a small butterfly charm to the bead with the ring to add a little something extra – and it’s ready for wear!

The end result is a really simple bracelet perfect for fall!  What are you making for your back-to-school wardrobe?

Great bracelet projects, but no if you want to use Goody Beads, & you live outside of the US….they have no contact details other than a phone number or a snail mail address…pity, ‘cos I liked some of their stock, but they make it difficult to ask them a question….I like an instant contact, email….wish I’d found out before & spent about half an hour bookmarking each page back to the individual projects!! A good lesson for next time….
Not your fault, I’m just having a bit of a whinge!! lol…No doubt I can find similar beads from Firestone Beads, or Artbeads, or Allfree etc….all who export to Australia…
Anyhoo, I loved your designs, gave me some ideas….a lot of designs that people share work out to be very expensive, after you’ve sourced the components….
Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving, many thanks to you……
May the Force be With you!!

This is so cute! I should so try this. My wrists are really tiny and I can never find cute bracelets to fit. Great project, Adrianne!

That is darling! My 25 yr. old daughter loves butterflies. She would think I was so cool if I made it for her (and of course I wold borrow it from time to time). Saving this!

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
