Reminder: Crafty Hour is Tomorrow and a Giveaway!

Did you catch the first Crafty Hour 2 weeks ago?  Tara and I had a lot of fun for our debut session making memory wire bracelets and cosmopolitan martinis!  If you’re just hearing about Crafty Hour right now, we invite you to join us for a live craft-along every other Friday night.  If you tune in using Google+ at 8pm EST / 5pm PST you will be able to ask questions and get answers during the broadcast, or, you can catch the recording on YouTube anytime.

Join Us For Crafty Hour and Win Free Craft Supplies!

If you missed the last episode, you can check it out right here:

This week, we’ll be sharing the recipe for a girls scout cookie cocktail (it’s so delicious!) and showing you how to arm-knit a spring weight infinity scarf.  We hope you can join us!  Read on for what you need to know to craft (and sip) along with us!

Bring the following if you’re tuning in live:

  • Creme de Cacao
  • Peppermint Schnapps
  • Irish Cream (or regular cream for a lighter version)
  • Cocktail shaker, a rocks or martini glass, and plenty of ice
  • One skein of scarf yarn at least 30 yards long (this is what I’m using)

Then join in the fun at 8pm EST / 5pm PST at this link:

https://plus.google.com/u/0/events/cn3vqr6t8q93d3nd3k6cmvjksjc – it’s a public event, just RSVP yes!

You can also catch it on YouTube after it airs.  You’ll want to be sure to subscribe to Tara’s YouTube Channel and My YouTube Channel so you have access to all the episodes whenever it’s convenient for you to watch.

Finally, enter the giveaway!

We are so excited about the idea of you guys tuning in, that we want to give one lucky participant supplies you will need for the next episode!  So today through tomorrow’s broadcast, we’ve got a giveaway running for a $15 gift card to the craft store of your choice.  (We will send you a card good to Michaels, JoAnn Fabrics, or Hobby Lobby.  If you aren’t near one of those stores, we can chat about how to get one for the store of your choice.)  Readers and fans in the US and Canada are eligible to enter and win (void where prohibited).

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Hope to see you tomorrow night!!

I am going to try to catch this one as I missed the first one! I am in the process of moving, so I will do my best to be there live, but if I can’t make it, I plan to watch later! I am excited you guys are doing these, I think it is a fantastic idea and I appreciate all the work you both are putting into it, thanks!

I will have to tune in later, since we’ll be hanging out in the cornfields (Iowa) with family.

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
