The Versatile Blogger Award

So over the weekend I got the sweetest surprise from Christina over at Adventures With Bubbles – the Versatile Blogger Award!

Thanks, mama!

Christina has a very cute mommy blog that she’s just getting up and running.  You should go take a look!

The rules for the Versatile Blogger Award are simple.

  1. Thank the person who gave it to you.
  2. Share 7 things about yourself.
  3. Nominate 15 blogs you have been enjoying recently.

So.  Seven things about me.

  1. I am mother to a gorgeous and hilarious little girl, wife to a supportive and fun-loving husband, daughter to a mom who I finally appreciate now that I’m a mom myself, big sister to a rockstar little sister and brother, friend to so many amazing people, and a proud owner of one ridiculous Chihuahua.  And I apparently love adjectives.
  2. I can rarely resist a dare, challenge, or contest.  Apparently I’m a bit competitive by nature. :P
  3. Not only do I craft, but I’m also a writer.  Every November I write a new novel as part of National Novel Writing Month.  This year I also wrote one in July, too.  And a screenplay in April.  This may have something to do with fact #2.  Ahem.
  4. I am an extremely logical person.  I have a reason for everything, and I assume everyone else does too.  Because of this, I am very slow to judge people’s actions and decisions, because I don’t know their reasons.  However… I get very irritated anytime I learn that people haven’t thought their actions through.
  5. You know, I’d really like to be a contestant on Wheel of Fortune Someday.
  6. Best thing in the world: laughing until you can’t breathe.  Bonus points if you’re also trying to tell a story when it happens.
  7. I refuse to dwell on the worst thing in the world, I just pray it doesn’t happen to me or to my loved ones.  Oh, but the second-worst thing in the world? Peas.  I hate those things!

Now on to my fifteen nominees!  I hope you mamas check these blogs out!

  1. Ladybird Ln.
  2. Home Savvy
  3. Blissful and Domestic
  4. Terrie ~.~ Smiling
  5. Quilted Euphoria
  6. Ricochet and Away!
  7. The Southern Institute
  8. Kate’s Curios
  9. The Kurtz Corner
  10. Coupons with Q
  11. Vines of Bacchus
  12. Discarded Darlings
  13. helloellenellen
  14. Thrifty Decorating
  15. bear rabbit bear
Now go and nominate your favorites!

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
