Low Fat Triple Chocolate Brownies with #AllWhitesEggWhites

01/20/2015 by Adrianne Surian 1 Comment

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of AllWhites Egg Whites for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

January is the month for healthy eating! Haha.  Even if you didn’t specifically make a New Year’s Resolution for it, it’s just so nice to get back to healthy eating after indulging over the holidays, don’t you think?  If you’re cutting back on fat and cholesterol, then I have a recipe that I think you’re going to love.  These triple chocolate brownies have reduced sugar, and substitute applesauce and AllWhites Egg Whites as a healthier twist on a recipe that’s traditionally a diet no-no.

If part of your healthy eating regimen or weight loss plan includes eating low-fat and low-cholesterol foods, then AllWhites Egg Whites are a great substitute to whole eggs!  They’re easy to use (with no cracking and no separating) and they’re a great source of lean protein.  If you haven’t tried cooking or baking with egg whites before, you can find great recipes like this at AllWhites Egg Whites Favorites!

I found the recipe for these triple chocolate brownies on the AllWhites website.  A few key substitutions reduces the calories and fat.  You can grab this printable $0.50 Off AllWhites Egg Whites coupon for your next shopping trip, and give them a try!

I love baking when it’s cold outside, but after all the Christmas sweets, this was a nice change of pace.  And when I say they’re triple chocolate, I mean it!  These brownies have a rich cocoa taste.

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
