    Hi Adrianne,
I really enjoy all of your beautiful projects and I particularly like those made with beads…such fun.
As I was looking at all of the different projects by your other contributors, I was surprised to see where Ciburbanity had painted a dish and made a mirror out of it. It was very pretty but I am curious to know if she/he realized she had used a very old Depression Ware plate for the project? I inherited a place-setting of 12, plus several platters and side dishes in this pattern from my mother. I always loved these dishes when I was growing up and was so blessed to have her give them to me when she passed away.
I thought if Ciburbanity had a little background to the dish she/he used it would even have greater meaning to the pretty mirror that was made.
Thank you for letting me share! Look forward to more of your wonderful work!

Hello, and welcome! I'm Adrianne, an artist, author, designer, and blogger in mid Michigan. I work from home, chase my two kids, and this once-city-girl is learning how to care for chickens and adjusting to life out in the country. I have a compulsion for daily creativity... sometimes it's jewelry-making, paper crafting, metal stamping, mixing and baking, or giving new life to recycled items. But with 2 young kids, time is short! My goal here at Happy Hour Projects is to share projects and tips that you can do in an hour or less. The ideas you find here are designed to add a little creativity in your day, no matter how much (or how little) time you have!
